Biosensors work by immobilizing glucose molecule which catalyzes oxidation of beta-glucose by molecular oxygen producing gluconic acid and hydrogen peroxide. The electrodes present in biosensor recognize electron transfer and this electron is directly proportional to blood glucose level.
