SpaceX’s ‘Falcon Heavy’ to be launched on Feb.6

SpaceX’s new rocket the ‘Falcon Heavy’ will be launched for the first time on Feb.6, as informed by the company's CEO Elon Musk. The well-known launch pad 39A, which was also used for NASA’s space shuttle flights and Moon Missions will be used to lift the ‘Falcon Heavy’. It is situated at agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida. The ‘Falcon Heavy’s’ first 27 engines were tested for the first time in the Launchpad on Jan 24. Designed to launch 119,000 lbs payloads into space, the Rocket is 230 feet tall.  Musk informed about the launch on Twitter but he has not specified the time of the launch, but it may lift off during a three hour launch window, which opens at 1.30 p.m. EST (1830GMT). A backup launch date is also available on the next day. The Falcon Heavy will be carrying Elon Musk’s Tesla Roadster for its first flight into space. This very powerful Rocket has its first stage consists of three falcon 9 cores which are made to return to Earth after launch. Roadster will be delivered into a heliocentric orbit which will send the Mid-night-cherry-red electric car by mars if the launch is successful. Visitors can go to The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) to watch the exciting launches from Florida’s space coast. The cost of the viewing package will be starting from $35 per person for simple viewing and parking. ‘feel the heat’ packages which are already sold out for $195 per person, allow two day admission to the KSC visitor complex, a trip to shuttle landing facility, Transportation to the viewing area, a catered  meal, SpaceX’s hat and other facilities. Musk says that, "There's a lot that could go wrong there" but also invites people to come and see the first Falcon Heavy mission. No doubt it is going to be exciting to watch the launch and feel the heat!
